Does uninstalling remove everything?

Uninstalling the app will remove most of the app-related configurations from your store. However, it's important to understand what is removed and what may remain.

What is removed​

When you uninstall the app, the following items are typically deleted automatically:

  • App access permissions to your store
  • App embed blocks or theme integrations
  • Scheduled sync processes or background jobs
  • Stored configurations on the app server associated with your shop

What may remain​

Some data may still remain temporarily or require manual removal, such as:

  • URL redirects to LLMs files (such as llms.txt or llms-full.txt) that were previously created
  • FAQs metafields, if any were generated or stored in your store

These items can be removed manually if needed.

What you should know​

Uninstalling the app will stop all future updates and synchronization immediately. AI assistants and crawlers will no longer receive updated data from your store through the app.

If you plan to reinstall the app later, you can simply install it again and reconfigure your settings.
