What happens when downgrading?
Downgrading your plan allows you to move to a lower pricing tier that better fits your current needs. The process is simple, but there are a few important things to understand about how it affects your features and limits.
1. New Limits Apply Immediately
Once the downgrade takes effect, your account will follow the limits of the new plan. This may affect:
- The number of products included in your LLMs files
- Access to advanced features such as FAQ schema
- Support level
If your store exceeds the limits of the new plan, the system will automatically adjust what is included based on the allowed quota.
2. Some Features May Be Disabled
If the new plan does not support certain features, those features will automatically be disabled.
For example, if the downgraded plan does not include Store FAQs:
- The Store FAQs feature will be disabled
- The FAQ JSON-LD schema will be removed from your storefront
- Existing FAQ entries will remain saved in your app, but they will not be published on the storefront
If you upgrade again later, you can re-enable the feature and publish the FAQs again.
3. Existing Configuration Is Preserved
Your current settings, configurations, and preferences will not be deleted. This includes:
- LLMs configuration
- Selected content sections
- FAQ settings
- File structure and formatting
However, some features may become inactive if they are not supported by the downgraded plan.
4. Products Beyond the Limit Are Excluded
If your store contains more products than the new plan allows, only the permitted number of products will be included in the generated files. The remaining products will simply be excluded until you upgrade again.
5. You Can Upgrade Again Anytime
Downgrading does not remove your data. If you decide to upgrade later, all previously configured features and settings can be restored immediately.
Downgrading gives you flexibility to adjust your plan as your store evolves, while keeping your existing setup safe and ready to scale again when needed.
