Enable CiteON App Embed Block

To use the Store FAQs feature and display FAQ structured data on your storefront, you need to enable the CiteON App Embed Block in your Shopify theme.

This step allows CiteON to inject the necessary JSON-LD schema into your store pages so AI assistants and search engines can understand your FAQ content.

How to enable the CiteON App Embed Block​

  1. In the CiteON app, click Open theme editor.
  2. Shopify Theme Editor will open in a new tab.
  3. In the left sidebar, navigate to App embeds.
  4. Find CiteON – Store FAQs.
  5. Toggle it ON.
  6. Click Save in the top-right corner.

Once saved, the CiteON embed block will start working immediately.

Important note​

If the CiteON App Embed Block is not enabled, the FAQ schema will not be added to your storefront, even if you have already created FAQs inside the app.
